Tooth Extraction

Have had a lot of pain with a back tooth which is resulting in pain in all of the gums.

Gone to dentist 2 weeks ago and he said the back tooth is moving but use mouthwash and toothpaste - however he put me on antibiotics at my request.

All I am asking - can a tooth not be cemented with tooth cement (if there's such a thing) - I really don't want to lose another tooth particularly a double one (back).

No expert but I can't imagine one cements the tooth root to the bone. That probably has to sort itself as the bone grows around the tooth. Cement is for caps or inlays on top of a stable tooth.

I believe it can be 'splinted' on to adjacent teeth in some circumstances, JJ, but really your dentist will be the only one to answer that.  It would depend on why your tooth has become loose, the state of your gums and bones and the rest of the teeth.

Are you still having pain from it?

Off topic, but did you get your money back?  I tracked that company down, they were advertising a 'luxury showroom' that displayed their 'premium goods' so I emailed and asked exactly where they are so I could visit.  No reply, no showroom at the address they gave on their website.  Shysters, blerydy shysters

Do have gum disease, have 4 implants, have lost too many teeth so am disappointed in another going and also very nervous, gag so much.

Yes Barry money back in my account, thanks for making enquiry

I know you've had a lot of dental treatment, JJ,hope your dentist can save that tooth.

Glad the money is back in your account.  You haven't asked for advice but I'll tell you this for free - don't buy a mattress until you've seen it and laid down on it.

Listen to your dentist chrissakes

and try not to second guess modern conservative dentistry with walk ins on AB - ( we did have a dentist on AB,  but I think he is making a house call)

squirty thing to put glue betweeb tooth and bone - no I dont think so
