Brings Back Memories
The handle of my toilet cistern snapped last night and I just bought a new one and replaced it myself instead of sending for the expensive plumber.
It only cost me £10. Memories of my own DIY of yesteryear.

There are, but you still need a basic levelof practicality to be able to implement them.
Speaking as someone with absoutely no practical skills whatsoever, I always get help with any job in the house, big or small.
As Dirty Harry famously said - "A good man always knows his limitations ...".
whatever I have done I have made a great F L U S H --- my flush is stronger than before. brilliant - yeehaha
I am wonderful - will try some other things ie electrical stuff, fit golden sockets on the walls for the plugs which I have done before. Hang curtains and blinds. And maybe get back to my old jobs.
