Impossible to name my favourite actor as there are, and have been, lots of actors and actresses whose films i will gladly watch. To name but a few;

Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Paul Newman, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Denzil Washington & Gene Hackman

Kathy Bates, Sarah Lancashire, Glenda Jackson, Sissy Spacek, Meryl Streep & Jodie Comer

Thank you all for your replies,very interesting choices. My modern day choices would be Tom Hardy,Robert DiNero and Tom Hanks,but I love fender and Ken’s choices,more my era.
