I'm going there for a course next week, what's it like? Anything worth seeing while I'm there? TIA

Yes, indeed. Although the pedestrianised shopping centre is pretty, it is limited. But there is a castle nearby, and the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre where many plays/shows go before and after West End runs. Within a few miles are nice villages like Cranleigh, Abinger Hammer and Friday Street. Best of all, close to a vilage named Albury, is St.Martha's On The Hill, a tiny Norman church high on the Surrey Hills with wonderful views across several counties.

The Railway Station. It enables you to travel to all sorts of other places.
