So what is it? Who will get taxed unitl the pips squeak and who will live off the back of that tax raised?

What it means to have a mortgage; a regular job; the school run; raise a family, and everything else that goes with family life for the working people. The politicians are clueless about any of that.
I don't think so Dave. I really don't. Most people in politics today are career politicians from uni through to party worker to political candidate. Nowhere in that is there room for a normal family life. The days of the working man-cum-politician are long gone - people like Dennis Skinner and Joe Ashton.
