^^Abbey - listen to naomi. That is very good, sensible advice.

Do none of your friends have to go to work on Wednesday? Surely they  can't all be unempoyed. Go for a couple of hours, then go home and go to work on Wednesday. Or tell them you are not going.

It appears to me, that this young lady will do what she wishes not matter what advice she is given on this forum.

I also believe from reading back on her previous questions that this would not be the first time that she has called in sick and jeopardised a job because she is a party girl.

you work part time... if you cant work pt and have the energy to go out in the evening, do you have some sort of illness you havent told us about?   i honestly dont get why you'd need the day off after an evening out

or in fact why you wouldnt meet your friends because you had to work the next day

I don't believe abbeylee90 and Gulliver1 are real people ...... they are just names with stupid posts trying to keep this site going !

I am guessing your current employment will very soon be your former employment.

You really are your own worst enemy.

i agree teacher i don,t bother now on here why people respond to these posts is beyond me

I remember the days when the pubs only opened for a few hours in the afternoons, then from 6pm until 10.30pm weekdays and an extra half hour on Saturdays.  Never a problem to get up for work the next day.  Job should come first or, no job no money to go out.  Simples.

Abbey is a real person.

Abbey, if you do decide to go to the party, tell the friend  that you can only stay for a while, limit your drinks and tell her you are booked an early shift on Wednesday and cannot change shifts.

If you are stupidly thinking of 'calling in sick' don't ! Your boss will know you are lying and he may even have little something to give you when you return .. a P45 !

Those who don't believe Abbey is real should just ignore her posts.

I know she is real, the Ed has confirmed she is real.

Real like me or real like God?

How does The Ed know she is real ?

Ask him.  I prefer my fact to your theory.

It isn't about whether she is real, of course she is real, someone is typing all this, it's about whether the life saga is real and I assume the Ed and the mods know that for sure too. Abbey told us she was starved of oxygen at birth and therein lies the explanation for all of it is all I assume. She doesn't listen to anything anyone posts either, it is all rather pointless.

If anyone has a problem with Abbey or with her posts, they are under no obligation to respond.  Abbey is a real person and the editor has confirmed that.

We all really need to know if you are going out and what you are wearing and what time you got home and did you lose your job and did you have your nails done.

I had my nails done few weeks ago and I'll see tomorrow if I can start later and will go home early.

Surely, Abbey, at 30+ years, you can go out and enjoy a few hours with your friends (drink sensibly) and be able to go to work next day 😊

Abbey

What does your comment mean ? Are you asking to change shifts ,despite the advice ?  You say

//I'll see tomorrow if I can start later and will go home early//
