Don't be daft, this didn't start on 7th October, it began 75 years ago when terrorists like Menachem Begin bombed and shot British soldiers in Palestine to gain statehood. Needless to say when he became Prime Minister of Israel we gave him a state visit and even though he had British blood on his hands, the Queen was forced to welcome him to Buckingham Palace in 1977.

In fact there are no rules in war. There is though, The Geneva Convention, which specifically prohibits murder, mutilation, torture, the taking of hostages, unfair trial, and cruel, humiliating and degrading treatment of prisoners.

So better Tweet that to Hamas as well, because they don't seem to know about that.

17:35 yes there is history but undeniably this latest episode started on 7th Oct. Hamas were given autonomy in Gaza and they threw it away, end of.
