Labour getting hammered for their hypocrisy. They seem only to have one line - Variations on the supposed black hole £22bn. £21bn of which is their own doing, £9bn to the public sector pay claim  and £11.6bn to foreigners for "climate change initiatives" - none of them seem to be able to correlate that.

The Winter Fuel Payments are fully devolved to the Holyrood parliament up here in Scotland,therefore our OAPs will still recieve the payments.Sorted.When my partners payment comes through this winter i will start voting SNP.Good on them.

TORATORATORA, Labour won't be spending £11.6 billion on foreign climate change initiatives.

In 2019, the Tories pledged to spend that sum in the period from 2021/22 to 2025/26 and the new government is honouring that pledge.

NAOMI, unless you can point to the section in Labour's election manifesto where it states they would be withdrawing the WFP from pensioners not in receipt of Pension Credit if elected, how can you claim anyone voted for this new policy?

The new government are honouring the Tory pledge because it suits them and they can blame the Tories. It's a great pity they haven't honoured the pledge to pay this countries pensioners the winter payment introduced by their own Gordon Brown. Almost their first act was to hit the most vunerable part of society with a shameful treachery.
