"Wahag reveals that the Home Office has now granted him leave to remain in Britain." - Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs!

"The decision came much more quickly than he expected. His is one of many asylum claims processed since Labour won the election, as it begins to tackle a backlog of applications." - Yeah let them all in, problem solved. As predicted before the election.

"He says he is "happy" Labour is now in power." - Of course he is!

So there you have it people, as predicted, open door policy.

//"The previous government, they wanted to deport us but now they are making the procedure easier for us," he says.// - So get here, stay here is the message, anyone think that's going to reduce the number of deaths in the channel?

Utterly insane, they don't even have to go to infiltration school any more.

Exactly as expected.

And Sir Free gear two tier tier gets another voter

Unsurprised he is happy with a government that has seemingly surprisingly granted residency to an illegal immigrant, one that admits they went through many safe European countries first, and no reason given for this decision. One can only hope all such abuse will be reconsidered when some sane politicians are found and elected into power.

Meanwhile, if he feels worried he can always return to France where he must be safer as they are happy with illegal immigrants going through their borders unchecked.

We knew this would happen even before this mottley crew were elected.   That's one way to clear the backlog - and with more people arriving practically daily, no doubt the 'frontlog' too.  God help this country!

"Mustafa, who came to the UK on the back of a lorry nine years ago, was also in the hotel as rioters attacked it."

So Mustfa hs been here for nine yers and it seems his application for asylum has not been heard. Oh, sorry! I go that wrong:

"Earlier this year Mustafa, from Iraq, was destitute.

His asylum claim had been rejected and he was sleeping on a park bench.

But he has since put in a fresh claim, which meant the Home Office gave him a room in the hotel while he awaits a decision."

I wonder what's changed? Meanwhile.....

"Wahag says he arrived in the UK by small boat just a few months ago after making the journey across Europe from Yemen."

"Wahag reveals that the Home Office has now granted him leave to remain in Britain."

"A Home Office spokesperson said it is "determined to restore order to the asylum system after it has been put under unprecedented pressure, so that it operates swiftly, firmly and fairly"."

So, swiftly in the case of Wahag. Not firmly in the case of Mustafa. Not fairly (in either case) as far as the UK taxpayer is concerned.

I suppose one out of three ain't bad.

How the Hell were so many British voters hoodwinked (not me btw) by Starmer.

Question Author

TBF paul, fewer were hoodwinked than those that voted for agent Cob in 2019. This has actually highlighted the flaw in our election system that untitled will now doubt remind us of.

I presume the rules basically haven't changed (yet) so why are the asylum applications suddenly being nodded through?

Could it be the civil servants have finally got the government they wanted?

davebro3, the blob are chock full of liberals, now labour have rubber stamped that liberal mindset on illegals vs irregular migrants, probably have an auto stamper given leave to remain.

To be fair TTT Untitled is actually correct in that respect.

Question Author

YMB he is correct that our system does throw up this kind of odd result but I'd rather have that than PR.
