I honestly don't care who gets it.

That's a suprise, I thought cleverly would reach the final.

IDS backs Badenoch.

Jenrick it is then.

We don't need another grey man in a grey suit.

I wonder why Cleverly faded - he appeared to be their darling at one time.

Personally I think Kemi is their best bet, and is very likely to triumph over the useless Keir at the next GE.

Kemi v Keir has a nice ring to it 😁

you in the party then dougie?

If they really intend to get us out of the ECHR and thus sort out present and future self inflicted wounds then at least we're going to start heading in the right direction. But if they are the official opposition next time, maybe it doesn't matter so much.

Some still think Kier will remain leader come the next GE ?!

Aye Tora, along with Ian and Duncan Cough.

The winner will be the next PM. Labour are going down quicker than a mono-ped doing the okey cokey.

ridiculous & irrelevant

To be the next MP they'd need to convince the public that they will actually do what is needed and unlike their recent time in power, merely stick there talking the talk. Seems nowhere near a certainty. It's possible they may need to make a pre-GE deal if they wish to be part on the next government.

To be the next *PM* ...

Badenoch would be a gift to labour. by far their most preferred candidate.

The next relevant leader of the tories will probably be Nigel.

Bookies' favourite James Cleverly has shockingly been booted out of the Tory leadership race after the party's fourth round of voting - leaving a duo of Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick to battle it out for victory in a membership-wide ballot.

MPs cast their ballots this afternoon before the results were announced just after 3.30pm.

The total votes cast were as follows:

Kemi Badenoch - 42 votes
Robert Jenrick - 41 votes
James Cleverly - 37 votes (eliminated)

Think the next Tory leader will be a little bit in the Dark.

i'll only care when we have a hard right conservative leader, but i don't like that word hard right, it's not hard to want to save the nation from the invasion we are having, and no party seem to do anything about it err (smash the gangs) wack a mole, drastic hard measures are needed, altruism is not wanted.

It matters not a jot. Except to the trough gobblers.

//drastic hard measures are needed, //

Such as?
