Geoffrey Cox ..TORY mp has been missing parliamentary votes and sitting days while he works at his lucrative "second job" as a lawer in Mauritius. The former attorney general who so far has declared £500,000 in pay from this second job this year also missed two Parliamentary votes on the winter fuel allowance.

Apologies, my comment was a bit crass and was rightly removed. You could do with a bit of timeout though, Gulliver, from this obsession you have with the Conservative Party.  Labour won, which is presumably what you wanted, so why do you go on incessantly about the Tories?

I'm sure there are posters here who dislike Labour as much as you do the Conservatives but they don't obsess about them day in day out.

You might as well soak up the glory of Labour's win for the remainder of this term as they will never ever get in again now that they have proven how dishonest, sneaky, disingenuous, hypocritical, untrustworthy and anti-British they are.

11.42 Seems to me it's you who needs to get a life,,, I am enjoying mine immensely.

It doesn't matter what party they're with, it seems that 99% of politicians bend the rules to their own benefit.

I have a very nice, happy and rewarding life, thank you.

@12.25.Yes,but you would accept this from a Tory party, gulliver,we dont expect it from a so-called"socialist"party.Before the election they promised they would be a"new broom",no more cronies,no more back-handers.So far this"socialist"government has been a major disappointment,to say the least.

If Johnson accepted all those freebies you listed for 10 Downing Street then either Sir Keir and future PMs can benefit from them or they can be sold raising some money for the public purse. So you should thank Boris really.

As I understand it Mr Johnson paid for the refurbishment of the flat.

If he did (maybe in the same way as Sir Keir eventually paid for his Taylor Swift tickets).

So gulliver, unless Botis took the stuff with him, it was Keir who benefitted from some of that stuff, or if he bothered to put it on ebay or send it to Southebys he could have raised something towards filling that black hole he found.

Me thinks the wallpaper will be difficult to remove, black bin bags of scrapped paper just wont hack it on ebay. Now any vintage wine left at number 10 that should help the suffering and needy. :0))))

I suppose to be fair to Starmer and his lies, hypocrisy, and gleeful acceptance of freebies, he may be able to sell the suits Alli bribed him with on eBay. Less so all the free specs as I assume the lenses are prescription.

Oh dear you are getting in a state. <:0)

Are you happy with Starmer's rank hypocrisy?
