What's wrong with it?

I use Google Maps

I've put in Belfast to Londonderry, it gives me the options of directions or map and both work.

What do you see?

Is this what you are trying to use?

Question Author

bookbinder - it is looking for VIA - I dont know what mean

Via just means 'through'.

So if you wanted to go direct from Belfast to Dublin ignore VIA.

If you wanted to stop at Carlingford you would put Carlingford in the VIA box.

You can ignore VIA if you simply want to go from A to B

I've just tried it on the AA route planner.

Enter where you want to start in the FROM box

Where you are going in the TO box

Then click the PLAN ROUTE box

I didn't choose "via" and it worked for me.
