//So have other colleagues who work there have cleaned after the cleaner before me left.//

Sorry abbey, that's meaningless garbled stuff again. Take your time when posting.

DDIL- at 20:23 I think you meant "....couldN'T clean houses properly.

simply doing a job for more time doesnt necessarily make you better at it.  In fact, it seems from wht you say you are rubbish at it.  As i think i said hundreds of posts ago, clearly you are applying for jobs for which you have no aptitude which is why you are struggling.  you also remind me of my daughter when she was younger - nothing was ever her fault, always someone elses she hdidnt have the maturity to centre control within herself.  Things "happened" to her (it was never her fault, alwys the dog, or events beyond her control)

I mean like if things happened like I need to speak to someone about or went sick and had to have a back to work meeting etc it hold you back with even last time then.

Abbey, I think you'll just have to accept that cleaning is not a job for you - none of the jobs have worked out, and you're moving into excuses mode now. When things start going wrong for you, you often say things like 'Even my colleague says..' - but that's pretty meaningless really.

Abbey, could you write on here a list in answer to a few questions? Just write in lists for now. One question at a time.

First question - what tasks have you enjoyed doing at any job you have done?

Is Abbey taking any notice of the advice been given ?

I notice that the same question was asked in July 2023

Question Author

Apart from cleaning in McDonald's well no one said anything anyway and I'm not applying for cleaning jobs.

Abbey, thanks - and that's partly what I was getting at. You're not intending to apply for cleaning jobs, so what does it matter how things are now going at Selco?

Did you see Barmaid's question at 22.10 last night, just a few posts above?

Question Author

Sorry Barmaid

So retail bit depends where and what hours also Warehouse work.

Does Cardiff not have public transport?

I'm wishing you luck here, Barmaid. Hopefully a fresh pair of ears/eyes and fresh mind will help here.

Abbey, have you done much warehouse work? I know you said - before - that you'd like that, but I thought you'd had only one spell of doing that (when you were let go during your probation)?

Question Author

DIDL Yes

Question Author

I did like they let me go so they could bring back an ex employee.

Thanks, Abbey. I was worried that you'd been there for only a short time - and hadn't been there long enough to get fed up! It's a pity there have been no warehouse jobs for you in the last couple of years.

Who was presumably better suited than you in the employer's view and had previously passed their probation.

Question Author

No, there's this family run retail company opening by selco and seeing if they will call me back for an interview.
