Just wondering if the contestant decided to deal very early on how would they pad out the programme to make it last nearly an hour?

I like Stephen Mulhern on Catchphrase so I watched an episode of Deal or No Deal when it first started - but what a boring show.  I didn't bother again.

There's always a certain amount of padding out in these type of formats , to fill the time 

However DOND takes the biscuit , especially the 'stories' that come with each 'contestant' 

The 1% club thankfully uses little padding

I like Stephen on Catchphrase, watched one episode of DOND but won't watch it again. It's just as bad as it was with Noel Edmonds
