Abbey doesn't  want answers to anything she just wants to keep the conversation going hence the stream of random questions. You all must realise but I assume you see it as therapy for her. It's very sad that her friends and family don't provide this support.

I find it very hard to belive that she lives at home but never discusses any of these isssues with her parents and they do not seem to have a clue about her struggles, mental health issues and clear learning difficulties.

...or finances

Question Author

They do know about my learning difficulties.

And do they help you with them? There can't be much of a conversation if they don't know whether you're working 2 hours or 8 hours a day and don't know about your financial struggles, your career worries, your frienship issues, and your inability to   make every day decisions.

Question Author

What about my friendship issues? I'll tell them if my financial issues got serious.

Abbey, do you really forget all the questions, some relating to friends, that you ask?  You've been fretting about one particular friend for ages, you moaned about another (the one who was sick, the one who wanted to scam a free taxi ride), the friends in 'the group' who didn't get back to you...

Your financial issues must be serious if you are working only two hours a week. Do you get any benefits, Abbey?

...two hours a day^

Question Author

The friend who didn't get back to me did, only the one who conned this guy for a lift home and who gone off people since moving in with her partner.

Question Author

No apparently I wasn't entitled to any benefits?

Thanks,Abbey, I thought you'd forgotten some of the friends' stories- quite a few were awful! I'm amazed that your financial issues aren't serious, you've had only a couple of months of full-time work over the past 18 months or so.

Abbey, you should tell them you're only working 10 hours.

Know I'm prob putting cat amongst the pigeons now by saying that the job at Baikey's sounded like great opportunity, so sad that you are turning it down. Website fir the Abergevenny store and Facebook stuff looks great. Looks like plenty of warehouse work needed and with any new shop they prob want new staff to work to their strengths so you may be able to say prefer working warehouse side, as am sure plenty would prefer to be on till.

We often regret the opportunities we turned down and wonder "what would have happened if I'd taken that job? ...."

You still not sure you even passed selco probation and have permanent contract. Selco are still advertising jobs on their website for Cardiff store.

You are at good point where you actually have experience if till but at Bailey's u would not need to memorise any codes or prices as all items would be coded.

Full time work is what you sat you want and this store will have jobs in all areas so you could say you prefer packing, stacking shelves etc once you there.

Give it a good think and definitely look at Bailey's store website/Facebook and go visit store tomorrow and take good look around looking at staff and what they doing.
