I hope it goes well. Learn a bit about the company before you go

Again? Does it involve heavy lifting?

Do you have far to travel to the warehouse, Abbey?

Abbey, if you've seen the specifications for the post and you match up ok with all of those...good luck! Some of the 'operative' jobs had skills and tasks that were a bit beyond you, but this one might be different.

Good luck, I have a job interview this week too!

It's not to bad distance wise.

I see this post started on 7th November.  I cba to read 266 posts but it's now 25th November.  Is it really still relevant?

good luck

It's just the preamble to another thread about stress, pressure and managers giving her a hard time over the inevitable kerfuffle that's everybody elses fault, ladybirder.

Ladybird, the thread  was a second one all about a new job Abbey was considering - and decided against. Today's post from her is about her now having an interview for another job...

Abbey, I'm sorry - the job description doesn't sound ideal for you! There seems a lot to it, and some of it sounds quite responsible, quite detailed - I'm not sure if you have the skills for it, or would pick them up quickly enough.(It's be great if you could prove me wrong!)

Question Author

There is a better job I think I'd be more suited to. I applied for today but see if I get an interview first

Jeez Douglas thank you. I now see her latest post at 19.11 and there's another job she's even more suited to.

Enjoy.

Bye. xx

Abbey as you are only working 2 hours a day have you considered contacting local warehouses and offering your services a few days a week in return for training.

That way you would get experience for the job that you think is your ideal job.

At the moment you are applying for jobs that are far above your skill level.

Abbey, that job carries a lot of responsibility.  I really think it would be far too much for you.
