In which case you possibly need Red Bull ?

shops far too vast and no assistants and none at the till either - unbelievable

Spending before Rachael from complaints takes it.

Of course the shops drive the economy in your book dont they? 🙄

No. The shops give a very good indication of the state of the economy, and right now the shops are rammed with people spending. Ok.

“…right now the shops are rammed with people spending. Ok.”

Must gave picked up since last month then:

https://www.ons.gov.uk/businessindustryandtrade/retailindustry/bulletins/retailsales/october2024

“Retail sales volumes (quantity bought) are estimated to have fallen by 0.7% in October 2024, following a rise of 0.1% in September 2024 (revised down from 0.3% in our last publication)."

Non-food stores sales volumes fell on the month as retailers reported that Budget uncertainty affected sales.”

We’ll have to see how it goes when this month’s figures are released,

Shops getting crowded in the run up to Christmas.
