Canary, there has been rehab available for addicts of illegal drugs for many years.

Nailedit is addicted to a socially acceptable and legal drug that the government gets a lot of revenue from. No comparison 

I would have thought spending that money on more nurses and doctors, sorting out the digital system of getting an appointment and many other urgent NHS needs would have been a better idea.

Whatever next - they'll be providing further help for folk like nailedit - such compassion is soooo Socialist.

sometimes  the irony is so subtle that I cant quite make out the  meaning

separate facilities means we are "demedicalising" drug addicton - ejecting them from the medical spectrum of diseases

but still assisting in a cheaper way ( hospitals v v vv expensive)

interesting comment - in the seventies, that was said about smoking ( mutatis mutandis, I have to cram a bitta Latin in somewhere ) - the taxes er paid for the NHS - then £75bn I think
