Scottish holiday

We're thinking of a 'touring' holiday in Scotland sometime during September. Any suggestions re accommodation, places to see (and to eat!) will be gratefully received!!

I would recommend the Trossachs, Isle of Skye, Cairngorms and Edinburgh and use the tourist information offices to find places to stay
