Haha. T. w. a. t. t. in Orkney.

Nowhere Lane near us and of course a house called Middle of.

Not a street name as such, but a sign pointing to The Hard Toilets, for the toilets at Portsmouth Hard (sadly now demolished).

As a boy learning French and a fan of the Goons, finding a street named Rue Barbe (Rhubarb) was always an ambition. I gfinally found one in Neufchatel-en-Bray in northern France.

😁

The elderly residents of a sheltered housing complex, that's just a few miles down the road from me, look out onto a sign saying 'St Peter's Close' 😉

Clink Street in London has an old prison, and this is the origin of the term 'CLINK' for a prison.

George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham, sold his land for revelopment in the 1600s but required that his name should be used on all the streets. So there were George Court, Villiers St, Duke St, Buckingham St ... and Of Alley, which is now York Place. They're off the SE side of the Strand.

In Bristol there is 'There And Back Again Lane'

how did I guess that was a dead end...

There is a museum on the site of the old Clink Prison, and IMHO it's not for the faint-hearted - it's grim in places (or it was when I visited a few years ago).
