Out Of Date Computer Drivers

Avast keep telling me that I need to upgrade as more than 20 of my 68 are out of date. Is this important or simply a desire to sell me yet more services?

ignore it, they just want you to duy their software, microsoft updates the drivers if needed, or you could go to manufacturers website for drivers, whether its a pc or laptop.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

(PS: You don't need Avast either.  Microsoft Defender, which is built into Windows, is perfectly good enough).

I get these reminders sometimes but TBH most of the suggested updates are for stuff I don't use anyway.
