"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
All Praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Universe
The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Owner of the Day of Judgement.
You alone do we worship, and You alone we turn to for help
Guide us to the straight path;
The path of those on whom You have bestowed your grace, not (the way) of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray."
Does anyone notice one or two contradictions there?
And the Bible...
1. “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me." (Exodus 20:2-3)
2. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments." (Exodus 20:4-6)
3. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain." (Exodus 20:7)
Not much difference between the two gods, is there?

Also I see contradictions between the statement that god is good, compassionate etc and also wrathful and unforgiving of those who don't believe what they say ('they' as indicating no sex).
Cant really comment on the Quran as only read a small amount and in no hurry to read anymore.
A very obvious point but the Ten Commandments and the Law was only given to the Jewish people. Gentiles were never under the Law.
Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of the Law and has opened the gates of salvation to all who will accept Him
fiveleaves: "Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of the Law and has opened the gates of salvation to all who will accept Him"
You make Jesus sound rather cruel and unfair, unless he would also open the gates to those innocents who are ignorant of his existence or genuinely do not believe what they have been told. What happens to people who pursue their lives doing good acts without believing in Christianity, or those who profess Christian belief but never do good acts?
