Is Lego Anti L G B T?
https:/
apparently, Lego is "heteronormative". I cannot for the life of me understand how LGBT Lego might work if it cannot "mate".

"The Science Museum guide claims that people think “the top of the brick with sticking out pins is male, the bottom of the brick with holes to receive the pins is female, and the process of the two sides being put together is called mating”."
Nope, I never thought that although I do not that cables and connectors have male and female ends. I'm trying to think of suitable alternative terms - dominant and subservient? Insert and receptacle?
We have 100s and 100s of £s worth of Lego, from the stuff we bought for our children years ago, buckets and buckets of bricks, technical sets all in their boxes with instructions, and now the huge technical vehicles my OH has enjoyed building over recent years, latest being last week which was a Lamborghini.
For anyone to suggest what's being suggested is comlete poppycock. Lego is Lego, a huge learning tool for girls and boys, it's learning without being taught or realising they're learning. And fun. Dear me...
