Laptop Pixels / Resolution

I know this is a bizarre question but don't ask and just humour me

I'm using a camcorder to film some You Tube clips directly from a laptop screen.

Am I better using the small screen within You Tube or  expanding to full screen?   i.e. How will it affect picture quality in way of pixels / resolution etc ?     Or is the difference not worth bothering about?

To answer a different question, why not download from YouTube using the WinX downloader. Just a thought. The videoing thing, you might be lucky, or not.

drmorgan's suggestion is best, othwise fill the laptop screen with the video for best results.

Do you mean, as in full laptop screen? Think Win X would be too complicated for me.   Basically all I want to do is  add some stock footage from You Tube to my existing camcorder footage to show through a TV

Thanks. Would I get better picture quality with natural or artificial light or would it not be much difference

If you mean in the room, it won't make any difference. Just fill the c am,corder frame with the laptop screen.

Bear in mind that, when you are copying, the local bus company will send a loud bus past your house if if you're not on a bus route, all the neighbourhood dogs will bark and the wild birds will switch on their loud hailkers. You won't hear them at the time of recording but you will when you play back the camcorder.

😂 LOL Funny you should say that.... I have a budgie and my wife flushed the toilet 🙈🙈😂😂...Thanks for your help. I know it's all very primitive and there are all kinds of software programs available but I'm not very good at all that stuff 😂😂
