Horror films

Can anybody recomend any good horror films, iv got to the point now where im just laughin all the way through them please help me. i dont want to be so scared that something unfortunate happens in my trousers but id like to actually enjoy the film.

enema mentioned "the ring". Make sure the u watch the original japanese film and not the hollywood hash-up. And, for added thrills, the japanese film has a prequel and a sequel already!

I'm a horror movie junkie but having similar problems at finding scary films! One i saw recently i would definately recommend is 'the devil's backbone'. It's actually in spanish but i've seen it with subtitles and im sure you can find it (possibly badly!) dubbed.

Ok....I personally LOVE scary movies but like someone else said here, almost ALL new scary movies aren't even scary...well, I just recently saw "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and it was PRETTY scary....ehh.....more GROSSSSSS than scary but yeah...anyone who enjoys scary movies should watch it...if you don't get SCARED....you'll be covering your eyes just as much if not MORE getting EXTREMELY grossed out. Watch it....if gore doesn't just kill movies for you.

The Burning, an early eighties slasher movie, which I personally think is better that any of the Friday the 13th's.
