Can Anyone Tell Me

What size and strength battery I need to get for my finger prick blood sugar reader. It is months since I used it so there is not one in it to check. I know that some are thinner than others.

 What make is it. Then you should be able to find it on line somewhere or take it to your chemist

Without a make and model, it's impossible for us to tell you.

Some use regular AAA batteries, whereas others use the even smaller AAAA size or possibly a 'coin' battery, such as a CR2032.

So what can you tells us, please?

it is about the size of a 10p but they come in various strengths and thicknesses

The most common 'coin' type is likely to be a CR2032 but we still need more information.  Is there a make and/or model number anywhere on the device?
