The new trend must add to pollution.

Been plastic for ages. Cheap to purchase. Probably only use metal if cooked on it ?

I like the Tikka and the Korma.

I accidentally jabbed a hole in the side of the container once and lots of liquid leaked out in the microwave.  But it made the sauce thicker so I jab the side a couple of times when piercing the film.

I stick the Naan in the air fryer.

That is about the sum total of my cooking skills.😂

It goes to show how rarely I order a takeaway.  Last one was in plastic, before that aluminium.

I've never ordered a take-away. Actually, the only time I tried ordering one, they asked if I had an Uber account, which I couldn't figure out, so I didn't order. I leave it to others now.

It's served in plastic tubs so my wife can freeze home-made soup in portions.

Iceland 'Takeaways ' are really good, 

The plastic container thing has come about because they are more stable than the foil ones .  The deliveroo/ uber eats drivers needed something that didn't leak in transit.  It's all geared up to the home delivery market.
