I use a dustpan and brush and occasionally hoover it out inside. I always use a bucket of water and sponge outside. Do Abers use other methods or get someone else to do it?.

I get the local eastern bloc lads to do it.

Get it valeted at the airport when i go away a couple of time a year and stick it through the car wash every couple of months

Same as TTT, I call them the crims but they do a great job

🤣🤣🤣🤣

For many years (after first owning a car), I used to wash every other week (without fail) – but now let the rain do the work, and maybe wash once every other month if the rain is falling down on the job.

My wash technique is a bucket of water/washing-up liquid & sponge, followed by the same (but without the washing-up liquid) to remove streaks.

Inside is cleaned with a mains powered vacuum cleaner and damp cloth.

'Clean'?  'Car'?  In the same sentence?  Does not compute!

Ok, I admit it.  If my friend's coming over from Italy (as she is tomorrow), I might get my car cleaned before she arrives.  That simply involves running it up to Tesco, leaving it with the hand wash guys, getting a relaxing cuppa in the in-store Costa and then handing over some money.  (I don't usually bother with the interior but I might occasionally brush out the footwells or, if I'm feeling really flush, fork out for a mini-valet with the Tesco guys).

Cordless power-washer with snowfoam. Rinse. Shampoo with washmitt. Rinse. Dry with microfibre drying towel and drying-aid spray.

Yes, I am OCD when it comes to my vehicle.

Oh you lazy people! We had a motorhome for many years and I needed a long reach extending car brush that I got from Halfords to clean it, I now use it for washing the cars and the jobs done in minutes, and its much better exercise than watching someone else do it!!!

Car wash.

I have a car wash included in my annual service in December. Since I live in a farming community, nobody notices...

I used to occasionally sponge it down with soapy solution then hose it off.  The inside I left to the garage when they serviced it. Alas no more (but I do sometimes pick up litter in the bus as I exit at the bus station).

I jet spray it with the hose pipe. Then I wash it with a sponge and a bucket of  water and car shampoo. Hose it again and dry it off with a microcloth.

I take the handheld section of the cordless vacuum outside for the interior.

Mr BM is quite particular about his vehicle.  He has special shampoo for it and special cloths and special tools and special potions.  He is beyond OCD.

We now share a vehicle.  But when I used to have my own, it resembled a mobile skip and I am not sure I ever washed it.  He used to shake his head in disbelief at the state of my car.

I crash it and get the repair company to valet it.
