I was once in the grounds of Blackburn cathedral & a little Pakistani lad was feeding the pigeons. Once he had a good crowd of them around he threw his jacket over them, scooped up 3 or 4 & made off.

There was a "Alsatian in the freezer" rumour circulating in Swindon in the 70s.  I think these tales are mainly apocryphal.
