i'm not watching it anyomre. I don't think any of them have got the x factor. It's so predictable and drawn out.
And my tv is in danger of being smashed in if that big-headed liverpudlian shows off again.

I'm with ELVIS68 too - how can you compare The Mcdonalds with The Righteous Brothers - the only similarity is that's there's 2 of em!!
Like Leona if she didn't strut so much. She moves at the same pace whether she's singing up tempo or ballad. But that's her only fault. Love Ben's voice, Ray was brill last night. Nikita is usually great but was disappointing last night. Dione shoudn't have gone. She's got a great voice but her songs have been naff for her up to now.

The only person I don't get is Ashley - wha't he all about and what do they see in him!! I think he's terrible.

just because they're Scottish, doesn't mean they're guaranteed the Scottish vote! Dunno about other people north of the border, but as soon as something becomes too shortbread, I want it off the telly. The Brothers are like something off The White Heather Club, which should not be exported to the rest of the UK. A bit like River City. It's crap, no-one watches it, but thank God the rest of the UK doesn't see it and think that all of Scotland is like that....

soozmac couldn't agree more. I'm a Scot and have the misfortune to live in the town where River City is filmed. They go to the old areas of the town to try and pass it off as Glasgow tenenemnts.

I for one cannot stand the McDonald Brothers - cheesy or what.

I did get what Simon was saying about Dionne because from the start I have said there's something odd about the way she moves on stage - she just looked stiff and awkward and I know what he meant about the boxer commetn as she did this side-to-side thing with her feet wide apart. It looked awful on the first week on the up tempo number - but she has repeated the same awkward moves each week whatever the tempo

I didn't think Kerry had a strong enough voice. I like Leona and Ben but find Ray annoying and I like Eaton Road but they will need to watch as in the last two weeks whenever Anthony has sung his solo bit he's gone really flat

i was going mad the 1st week the macdonald bros got through an each week makes me madder. For a start, it should have been the two black guys (out of the group of brothers that broke up) that got through instead of them. I like ashley, eton road and ben, i dont like leona coz shes tryin to be mariah carey.

IMO the Mcdonald Bros should not even have got into the final 12, much less the final 4. I can see what Maggie means about the Righteous bros, with the harmonies and that, but at least they had a personallity, the Mcdonalds, might as well be cardboard cut outs. I would like to see Jay win, i know he's a little cocky but he has heart and really loves what he does
