Last year I had it all done by mid October and when it came to the big day, all the presents sucked and I couldn't get a refund on any of them.
I've started to look at what I might get people for Christmas, but I won't get it for a while (but not too late that they hike up the prices)
Also I hardly use Amazon for presents, unless I know my item is going to be over 20 free postage, as there are alot of other companies out there who offer cheaper products than Amazon and also free P&P (Play.com, CD-wow.co.uk etc etc)

I've got a couple of stocking fillers and am planning to do a little bit of it this weekend but most of it will be left for another couple of weeks.
Amazon is free delivery over 15 but Play.com is definately better. It depends what you want though as Play does not do boardgames or toys and all the electronics which Amazon sell.
Ebay will be where I buy a lot of mine too, and I will be selling lots of stuff to other xmas shoppers too (hopefully). I usually sell a lot of vintage party dresses in December

I have finished all my shopping now.. Have done it all through the internet and have saved loads.. I always buy my stuff early so that I dont get stuck if something is out of stock or if something is late being delivered.. I usually start thinking about what to get for people around June and then buy a pressie a month or so until November..
