the car heater only blows cold, and the control dial will not go fully in either direction

I had similar problem on my N reg 2.5 ltr model, and a whizz kid from nearby told me that Fords did a call-back on Mondeos for that problem !!!!

He showed me the fuse block just above where the front passengers knees sit, and lo and behold , a blown fuse, i think its a green one 30 Amp.

Ive changed it 5 times this winter but keeps blowing, and he said it needs a short rewire to fix it, cant help with the control dial though.........anyway good luck, try it

Did you sort out your heather problem in the Mondeo? If so, what did you do as we have exactly the same problem, same year too.
