hair dye.. help!!

I just done my hair with that product advertised on tv , yano the one with the woman from desprate housewifes .the dye you put on first , then you get a wee brush and add the highlights.
Well ,,I now have ginger hair on top and dark dark brown hair with touches of red at the bottom, in other words I look like an auntum tree with full leafs.
I am beside myself about this ..My huby is due home in an hour ..and I duno how to fix this ..

anyone got any ideas??

i had something similar to you - and the only thing i could do was go and get the whole lot died darker than my normal colour (at the hairdressers) - i was in tears and everything. They said that I was because I hadn�t kept the product on for long enough mmm. Good luck.

No quick fix that i can think of.

This happened to my sister. It looked flipping awful. She had to get it put right by a hairdresser who told her this happened quite often with that particular style of product (not just that make - any type that has 2 stages of diff colours.)

Have heard that dandruff shampoo strips colour but i don't think it will work in an hour!

ive used that a few times and loved the result, maybe it depends what colour you are wanting.. which one did you use?
the only thing i can thing is to dye it an all over colour, this should sort it out, best to go for a medium-dark brown.

I have had oodles of hair diasters. hair is organic, it grows back. dont fret about it, it will be better once you go to the hairdressers x

I have called the hairdressers , she was also laughin at me sayin I looked like a tree .~bitch~
Anyways ..I made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon , now Im sittin dreading the hubby comming home and seein it ..worse still is put my hand out and asking for �40 to make it better .

Whenever I've dyed my hair a colour I can't stand, I just go right back to Boots and buy another kit. Risky I know, but I've been dying my hair for years.

This happened to my daughter a while back :) i aked my hairdresser what to do and he said just get a permanent colour from the chemist and re do it- it worked..

Same thing happened to me once. I brought a semi permament hair colour - in brown and it worked a treat. Didnt need to go to hairdressers.
