Has anyone had any dealings with acer laptops as i am considering buying one but i have not had any dealings with them

Had mine for 18 months.Gets used for a good few hours each day. No trouble whatsoever. I've never used another laptop,so can't really compare

I've had my Acer for well over a year, used every day, been dropped a few times, no problems at all.

Except the lettering is wearing off the keys. As I'm a touch typist it doesn' bother me.

This one's about 2 years old - no problems except the lettering on the A key has gone.

We have 10 at work. 1 of the cd drives failed last week. Our usual supplier can't supply them so we contacted Acer. They quoted �198 for a new one. We will never by Acer again because of this reason. The actual laptops themselves are pretty reliable though.

<center>I recently brought an Acer and have no problems with it what soever, its very reliable and the software you get with it-"Empowering Technology" is super; it's sped myb load up time from a minute to 15/20 seconds!!! Would really reccomend them
