what is parkour?

I think it began in Paris. Parkour is rock climbing without the rocks. The city is the landscape and these guys use playgrounds, roofs, disused industrial estates and countless other things to jump off/on. It sounds pretty basic but they are serious athletes and the things they can do are amazing.
