Cain and Able's wives?

If Adam & Eve were the first 2 people - and they only had 2 sons - Cain & Able (that's 4 people on the planet) - where did the wives come from that Cain & Able married? This is a serious question - one that I have always wanted to know the answer to.

The trouble with your philosophy, pixie-woo, is that it admits 'opinions' which are plainly absurd, like those of flat-earthists, astrologers and those who believe that crystal balls can predict your future. The only way we can aim for the truth is to dismiss that which is untenable and concentrate on the possible, analysing that until we get the probable.
Genesis does not admit of 'opinions' . Its unknown author claims that the earth existed at least three days before the rest of the universe. That, as we know, is nonsense. It also claims that God separated the light from the dark, and enjoyed evenings and mornings, before he created the sun! With so much fatuity in the first 19 verses of that book, why on earth should anyone ta\ke the rest of it seriously?

There are loads of questions such as this that the Bible cannot answer. That weakness was exploited by John A. DeVito in his Devil�s Apocrypha. Fascinating book and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys 2 sides to an argument.

On this particular subject the book suggests that there was already a civilization on earth but it could not provide the power of the sentient faith and so Adam and Eve were created.
