Following a virus I had to get Windows re-installed on our computer. Amongst other things that were lost was the software for my wife's iPod and now I can't find the installation CD anywhere.

Is there anywhere I can get it from the internet? We've re-installed iTunes but the iPod is being found by the computer

Is the new version of iTunes, 7.0.x, the one you had on and working before the virus?

If not, try plugging the iPod in before starting your computer up, then once the computer starts up with the iPod plugged in, try opening iTunes and see if it's detected then.
