Presumably your supervisor was no help. Now your IVA has finished (presumably successfully) most banks should in theory be willing to talk to you. As I am in the industry I usually recommend Alliance and Leicester or the Halifax. You may of course find difficulty in obtaining an overdraft facility unless you provide security.

I have poor credit history and am finding it impossible to get a business bank account anywhere. The Alliance and Leicester could not help, neither can Business Link !

try barclays. i have rubbish credit history and i got one. take all your ID and make sure you have a letterhead of your business

Alliance and Leicester sometimes can be difficult Izzey, although in the past they have been one of the few banks willing to give anyone an account.

It will depend of course on whether you want to borrow money or not.
