Does anyone know for how long a full uk driving licence issued in 1968 would have been valid - 3 years or 10 or ?

Valid up to the holder's 70th birthday.

Previous answer is I believe wrong.
I passed my test in 1970 and was issued a red card 3 year licence
Passed my test in May 67 and was issued with the old red booklet type licence, about 3 x 2, valid for three years.
