6 Answers
Hi
Since 2 days ago, my PC has been misbehaving. Everytime I switch it on it eventually restarts itself after flashing a blue screen with words for a milisecond. It just keeps restarting itself. What can I do? I have tried going into safemode but it keeps freezing, so I cant even fix the problem via safemode. Here is the microsoft report on it posted below as an answer:

Solution 2: Manually decrease Hardware Acceleration for your video adapter
This procedure prevents the display driver from programming the hardware incorrectly, but you may lose some display functionality and performance. Although you can increase the hardware acceleration settings higher than None to regain functionality and performance, these settings increase the chance that the issue will occur again. For maximum stability, leave hardware acceleration turned off.
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
Click the Troubleshoot tab, move the Hardware Acceleration slider to None, and then clear the Enable Write Combining check box.
Click OK, and then click OK.

You need the original Windows CD - boot from the Cd press R for recovery console
try the fixboot or fixmbr initially if this doesn't work try others on the list (type help for details of what they are) I know this sounds obscure but it is trial and error
Unless you have recently updated your graphics driver it may not be that whatever MS say!!
