In my opinion e-cards for Xmas, birthdays or whatever are the absolute pits - If you can't be bothered to send someone a real card then don't bother at all.

Thanks for your opinion, but that isn't actually what I asked. They are not to replace real cards. I trying to find really naff/funny ones to send my friend (we have a contest going!)

Marvin, a bit opinionated aren't we, I see nothing wrong in sending e cards, I don't usually send either, I just use that old fashioned way, I simply phone and say Happy Christmas, a little more personal than a tacky cheap cards that are massed produced and filled out in a long mind numbing session that most people detest.

This does not apply to all the ABers who I'm sure pick their cards individually for each person and write in a loving manner to each person regardless of whether they received one first. will that cover all eventualities?

I use jacquie lawson.com for various occasions through the year, but I`m afraid that they`re not really in the categories that you are looking for! The main reason I use them is that they are for people for whom I don`t have a snail mail address, but want to greet them in some way.

I'm all for the e-cards
In the UK alone this Christmas we will :
dispose of over 1 billion cards this year,
10 million turkeys consumed,
3 million tonnes of waste generated
7.5 million xmas trees bought and most thrown away
83 square km of wrapping paper thrown away.
Quite staggering.
