A complete waste of time and money and one big con every day has a 25th in it so what is so special about december 25th or 31st or 1st January as in the 25th all months have a 1st in them so why do you all waste your time and money i dont and never have and never will

I'll be at Church, actually. I now feel I'm hogging this thread. My Granny and myself will go the evening before, as she's really old and can't do midnight mass. We all go to midnight mass (love the Carols) and then to the morning one (while the meats are slow roasting in the oven). Our church is five minutes walk away. So there!

I still think it�s a festival based on having a bit of fun in the dark, cold midwinter though. Jesus was not born then, he was a spring baby. Lambs aren't normal outside of spring even round the Biblical areas.
