Guys and girls

Why do some guys dont talk to their girl mates much when they have a girlfriend. Some guy tends to avoid you and dont want to hang out with you and their new girlfriend together even in a big group of you. Sorry if its a bit sexed Im a girl. Any blokes or girls opinions and situations.

more than likely lto be that 'new girlfriend' is jealous or thinks that something is or has gone on previously to her coming on the scene, well............. in my experience thats exactly what it was (going back a while tho : ) x

I think it is called taking their girlfriends feelings into consideration.

it works both ways.

unfortunately many people cannot accept their partners having platonic friendships - they are insecure and cannot see past the notion that their must be something going on - and even if their isn't they cannot risk allowing something to start.

i think it depends on the individual relationship.

i think people tone it down in front of their partners just to stop any friction - its easier, and they don't want to be made to choose.

I agree Paul, but sometimes you have to get to know each other first just to be on the safe side. I've been lucky, my ex didn't have a problem with me going out with any of my male friends.

Hmmm, a bit of a strange question. I thought it was obvious why a guy would not talk to all his girl mates the way he usually does when his girlfriend is with him. He obviously thinks a lot of his girlfriend and doesnt want to hurt her feelings or make her think things...as women do ;)
