It is quite hard, knowing where to look is the difficult bit.

Mind you, when you see some of the answers, you think to yourself, "of course it is" ..!!!

Is it the same one where they give the wrong date (1809) for 'Arthur Wellesley created Duke of Wellington'. ?

Such inaccuracies always prejudice me against a quiz, but even allowing for this I thought the answers were in places incredibly long-winded - too many padding words - too much room for ambiguities...eg
Franz Huber writes / wrote the words to Stille Nacht heilige Nacht.
Charles Babbage invents the principle of the analytical engine.
And what on earth has the setter got in mind for 1972? Surely he could find something more succinct.

I have given up on this quiz, and also the 1st Kinoulton Scout Group Christmas quiz. Salty has definately put too much salt in!
