With your LH mouse button, double click in the space after it and use your keyboard back button to delete that unwanted part of the URL then press return and the correct address should be loaded.

Does it bring up a browser window when you click the Blueyonder icon. If it does delete the address and type in
http://www.blueyonder.co.uk
http://www.blueyonder.co.uk

Right do two things.
Repeat that but in All Programmes right click the Internet Explorer which will bring up a list of options. Select ' Send to' and then from the further options now available select ' Desktop (create shortcut)
This will now give you an icon to use on your desktop.
Secondly, bring up your browser with this shortcut and type in the Blueyonder address exactly as I wrote it earlier. Then when the page has loaded correctly go to Tools/Internet Options
Under the general tab it gives you the option to select current which of course is your Blueyonder start page.
This will solve your immediate problem of internet access but you need to find out why your original link has become corrupted. Are you using antivirus, anti adware and firewall programmes

Firefox is an alternative browser to Internet Explorer and you have the protection needed
As I said it sounds as though your Blueyonder link has become corrupted. Presumably this was installed with a CD that Blueyonder supplied.
Try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it or if you don't feel happy doing that, just follow the steps I gave you above which will set Blueyonder as your Home page. (Blueyonder is not a browser)
Repeat all of it in Firefox also if you want to use that, its better and safer than IE anyway

When you install Firefox, it puts two shortcuts in your programs menu. The first one "Firefox" runs Firefox normally, and the second "Firefox [safe mode]" runs Firefox in safe mode (i.e it disables all the themes and add-ons, in case any of them are causing problems).
When you click a URL (internet address), Windows should run your default browser, and this is clearly not happening. It sounds to me as if you installed Firefox, set it as your default browser, then deleted it.
Open internet explorer
Click tools/internet options
Go to the Programs tab
Click the button (or checkbox) to make IE your default browser.
Then when you click your Blueyonder shortcut, it should automatically open in IE.
