I have just booked a break to rome in march. It was very reasonable and there is so much to do there (so ia have been told)
i had a superb long weekend in brussels a couple of years ago. if you get to the grande place which is a massive square there are so many bars, cafes etc you cant fail to have a good time. we ended up in one bar late at night and when we came out the sun was shining. it was brill.
Assuming it to be a romantic weekend, i have covered most of europe and cannot speak highly enough of Prague and Budapest.
Recently had a long weekend City Break to Florence. Absolutely fabulous. Enjoyed it so much that will be going back soon.
Marrakech not Europe but not far to travel no visa and cheap when you get there and chances are warmer than here in March - also Dublin as 17 March St patricks day and great city any time of year - not particularly cheap though.
Amsterdam's a hoot. Berlin is a must see.NICE is nice!!. Gibralter's not bad but 3 days is probably too long there. Madrid's a fair shout. Paris aint bad. Munich's a corker!. edinburgh's beautiful. Dublins a beaut!. All in all, enjoy!!!!!
try Rome its good for a city break and quite romantic a lot to see you can get some good prices on easyjet some great priced hotels on lastminute.com went in march last year with my girlfriend it was great!
I'd recommend Krakow. Lots to do and see, good food and cheap quality goodies to buy.
I'd say venice, it's such an amazing place, however food etc is qute pricey, but it's so worth it :D x
I have booked to go to Pisa in march for 2 nights. Never been there but Ryanair flights from Bournemouth were cheap as chips.Pisa centre is only a couple miles from the airport so cutting down on transfer time at the other end.I think that is important for a short break
Pisa is a bit dull - well in my opinion if you can get to Florence I would suggest that is worth a day of your trip as I flew to Pisa to go to Florence and it is beautiful and well worth the effort if you not been there - I was disappointed with Pisa
