70s song

I'm looking for one of my dad's favorite songs from the 70s. He claims the name of it is "In the Park" and thought maybe it was by Grand Funk, but I haven't been able to find anything like that. He said he remembers it being a pretty long song and was on a red and black 8 Track. Does anyone have any ideas?

That is certainly the band Grand Funk, but I don't know if that is the right song. I emailed it to my dad to find out.
