What pets do you have (have you had), what are their names and nicknames and what is their affect on your life?

Awwww lovely answers everyone :)

Me and the ex fiancee had a dog, Max, from 8 weeks old. We let him sleep with us at first as he was so tiny and he never stopped. He used to burrow his way between us up the bed then turn on his side and stick his legs out so he was in the middle. He also had a thing about sleeping over my neck and would often wake up with a big furry collar.

A mate of mine had the funnist dogs, collie corgi cross, the looked like little sheepdogs with stumpy corgi legs...awwww.

Have had numerous Rotts, Boris, chloe, hanne, Sam to name a few, a very nasty mongrel called Paddy.
Now have a Japanese Akita who is 10 and very grumpy, and a hamster called Spot. :-)

Here's a happy story to end the year. Yesterday morning walked into our kitchen and found my boy cat Yin sleeping on the work surface. Normally this would earn him a ticking off BUT ... it was the first time we'd seen him for 3 days!
He's 10 years old and a bit of a homebody so after 3 days of searching the surrounding streets, shouting and rattling boxes of treats and phoning vets to see if he'd been brought in, we were really starting to think the worst.
He's got a twin sister Yang who went with us we went searching and howled loudly whenever we called.Now of course, she's ignoring him.
Always had cats in my life but also had loads of goldfish, hamsters, budgies, a canary and two rats.
