Congestion Charge question Again
8 Answers
I want to know if I have to pay, here's the scenario:
The office I work at is on a road literally on part of the cc border, very annoying. Anyway, if I get onto that road before 7am, park there, and leave after 6:30 pm, do I still have to pay?

If you have driven or parked on a public road in the Charging Zone during charging hours ( 7.00 am and 6.30 pm) and haven't paid the Congestion Charge by midnight on the following charging day after the day of travel, your vehicle will be identified by the cameras and you will be sent a Penalty Charge Notice - link

However... If a camera doesn't see your number plate, how are they to know you were in there.
I've never actually driven into the zone, so I'm not sure how prevalent the cameras are.
It's a ****** that they're including the A40 roundabout in the extension. Means I'm gonna have to go round Shepherds Bush Green now which is a nightmare at the best of times!
