Diabetes.

Hello!
I recently had a urine sample taken for a suspected bladder infection. I was told by the doctor yesterday that it was just that.
Lately though, I've become a little paranoid about having diabetes. If I did have it, would it have come up in my results? Or is it something that would have had to have been tested for specifically?
Many thanks in advance, c~s :-)
